Cretto
The Cretto artwork is a striking interpretation of fractured landscapes, inspired by the renowned Grande Cretto installation by artist Alberto Burri in Sicily, Southern Italy. It captures the essence of ruins, erosion and the passage of time, transforming natural patterns of destruction and renewal into a refined finish. Characterized by deep, irregular crevices that intersect across the surface, Cretto conveys a sense of permanence and resilience, much like Burri’s monumental land art, which was built over the remains of the earthquake-stricken town of Gibellina.
